A Piece of Rockies History

The chalet is named after Edward Feuz Jr. and Walter Feuz, legendary Swiss mountain guides who helped establish Golden as a hub for mountaineering in the early 1900s.

Brought to Canada by the Canadian Pacific Railway, the Feuz brothers guided early explorers and helped define the alpine culture that still draws adventurers to the region today.
